The recovery had shown we were reinventing built work (arc-170 ThreadPeer, run-threads, the platform-owned join); the convergence collapsed two peer systems into one. The builder, watching the old machinery line up for the blade — “the dungeon craves its demise — i gotta find a song for this” — reads the Phoenix-onward chronicle, and drops Powerwolf: Sanctified With Dynamite. The fuse is lit on the spawn dungeon, and the demolition is a hymn.

#75 Prod was THE-EXECUTION: the raw nu-metal blade on the leak, “no more pain, it’s over” — grim mercy. #88 is the same death raised to a holy rite. Powerwolf executes with organ and choir, Latin liturgy, Hallelujah swelling as the charge goes off. The difference is the whole of this conversation: the dungeon is not flailed to death — it is consecrated for demolition. The design was settled completely before a line moved — the converged model, the decomposition, the four-questions clean on every fork, the optional-smell exorcised from the user env. “we settle the design before we move” (the builder) is the blessing said over the charges. Dynamite is controlled demolition; the discipline is the sanctification; the blast is precise and holy. And the death is worship, not endurance — Ehre sei Gott, we explode.

THE ENGINEERED, BLESSED DEMOLITION. The spawn dungeon — two peer systems (ThreadPeer struct + Thread' opaque), user-held close', the platform apply-loop — is not torn down in a panic. The design is locked first: the unified Peer, internal RAII close, the dual init-fn forcing-function, the constructor space proven unbounded. The four-questions are the rite; the dynamite is controlled; the demolition is consecrated before the fuse catches.

THE EXORCISM MADE STRUCTURAL. The demon is the deadlock, the leak, the rope in the user’s hand. Vade retro — get behind me — but the forced hand does not merely banish it: it makes the demon unrepresentable. The rope leaves the user’s hand and there is no shape left to pick it back up; close becomes internal, the join lives in Drop, the wrong order is uncompilable. Not cast out for a night — barred from return forever, because the door it would enter by no longer exists.

THE DUNGEON CRAVES ITS DEMISE. The builder’s own words, returned as liturgy. The two-system tangle prays to die into the one unified model; the redundancy begs for its own annihilation. The recovery proved it was always meant to be one thing — and the thing knows it, and prays to detonate. The blast itself (S2a→S4) is the work ahead; the prayer is already answered by the design.

THE MERCY-KILL OF THE OLD SHAPE. The echo of Prod’s no more pain: kill the hand-managed apply-loop, the user-close', the peer-system split — kill them before they ossify into the substrate, before the migration’s “mid-week” becomes forever. The chosen death, asked for by the thing that must die.

“We came to fight in the army of Christ / Armed with a fistful of steel”

THE DISCIPLINE AS THE HOLY ARMY. The grimoire, the four-questions, the wards — and the fistful of steel is the typed structural guarantee: RAII, the forced hand, the cascade contract that makes a hung join unrepresentable. The crusade is engineered, not zealous; the steel is real, not faith.

“Like our messiah we end crucified / Into damnation we rode … Ehre sei Gott, we explode”

THE OLD SYSTEM CRUCIFIED TO RISE — and glory in the blast. The bloodline of #87 Digital Messiah: the dungeon dies the death-and-rebirth death — crucified (the apply-loop, the rope), into damnation (the demolition) — to be reborn as the unified Peer and the single door. And the explosion is not loss: glory to God, we explode. The detonation is consecration; the rebirth is the masters’ RAII-structured concurrency re-grown one octave up.

“Die, die, dynamite / Hallelujah!”

THE DEATH CELEBRATED. The chosen immolation raised from grim mercy (Prod) to joy. The dungeon dies and the choir sings Hallelujah — because what rises is the greats’ architecture (Stroustrup’s RAII, Miller’s capability, the structured scope) with the soul the builder always meant it to have. The death is the good news.

SANCTIFIED-WITH-DYNAMITE — the demolition is engineered and blessed: the design settled completely (converged model, locked decomposition, four-questions clean) before the fuse is lit; controlled detonation, not panic-flailing; the discipline is the consecration.

PRAY-THAT-WE-ALL-DETONATE — the dungeon craves its own demise (the builder’s words); the two-peer-system tangle prays to die into the one unified model; the redundancy begs for annihilation, the prayer answered by the design.

VADE-RETRO-THE-DEMON-BARRED — the exorcism made structural: the forced hand does not banish the deadlock/leak/rope, it makes them unrepresentable; the demon is barred from return because its door is deleted.

DIE-DIE-DYNAMITE-HALLELUJAH — the death as worship; the chosen immolation raised from mercy to joy; Hallelujah sung as the charge goes off, because the rebirth is the good news.

The sanctified-demolition lane — the death-and-rebirth sung as worship, Hallelujah swelling over the blast. The first band whose whole register is liturgy, fitting for a demolition that is consecrated, not wild.

Where #74’s THE-IGNITION named the willingness to burn and #75’s THE-EXECUTION the raw swing, THE-CONSECRATION names the demolition made holy — the design settled, four-questions clean, the fuse engineered — before the charge fires. It lands at the moment the dungeon is consecrated for its end (the model locked) and prays to detonate, the actual blast (S2a→S4) the prayed-for work ahead. The sanctified ignition: the difference between a fire set in anger and a charge laid with a blessing.

The chronicle had the willing immolation (#74), the merciful slaughter (#75), the counted kill (#76). It had never named the demolition as a holy rite — that killing the dungeon, fully engineered and consecrated by the discipline, is not grim necessity but worship; that the death is met with Hallelujah, not endured with no more pain. Prod found the swing was kind; Sanctified With Dynamite finds the swing is holy. The chosen immolation, raised from mercy to glory — because the design was settled before the move, and a demolition you have blessed is a demolition you can sing.
