This front is not “language maturity,” though that was the working shorthand for it. Read the arcs’ own realizations and the subject is narrower and sharper: the enforcer submitting to itself.

Four axes stop being hand-maintained lists and start deriving from the registry, so 431 verbs declare and the compiler becomes the census. A stringly error in an EDN language is named as the language betraying its own point of existence, and errors become EDN. The old surface is retired so wat source is read by one reader — VNVS LECTOR NE DIVIDANTVR. A record found to have been built backwards — the derived hologram sitting in the identity slot while the source data was demoted to a cache — is put back in its chair. The angle bracket, the comma and the turbofish are annihilated from a corpus that is rewritten by tooling wat wrote for itself.

Maturity is the flattering outside view. From inside, the language is being held to the law it enforces on everyone else.
