How we reached it — the first stone of the rebirth

Since 300 R1 (IN REGVLA SALVS, the salvation code we neared) we said we emerge, and the war began — and its first blow was not a charge but the binding of the lawgiver to its own law. 300.1 landed: wat read faithful in call position but not in definition position (the exemption named in R1 — the lawgiver unbound in its own def-sites); the strike ended it, additively, so (wat.core/defn user/main …) registers and runs while (:wat::core::defn :user::main …) still runs unchanged. Verified by hand — “faithful def-name + entry runs” — and the whole disk held (240 == baseline, zero new). Then we cleared the field for the work: called the shadowdancers back and kept their work, muted the ~240 recapture-pending goldens (tracked, an IGNORE-LEDGER with its unlock), and made the goldens legible (pretty-print on capture — the redeemed error, VVLNVS REMEDIVM FERT, now readable). The ground is clean, the lawgiver is bound, and wat speaks both its tongues. The rebirth has its first stone.
