Full telling — the duet, scored: docs/arc/2026/06/293-struct-record-symmetry/REALIZATIONS.md R5. This is the ledger entry; R5 is the work. THE FIRST REPRISE in the soundtrack — We Got The Moves already scored #27 (COLLECTIVE-CELEBRATION / multi-stone same-session rhythm) during the original 170 grind; it returns ~90 songs later, still inside 170, at the moment the rhythm returns.

The test grind was 170 fallout — and arc 170 is the generative root of the whole annihilation cascade. The builder named it this session: 170 opened on “can we get argv into main” and unravelled everything. The pointer-sequence, in his shape: argv-on-main → stdio must move to services → guard the mutable state on stdio (so writes can’t interleave) → services must be correct → the entire cascade of getting services right (still in progress) → the latest blockers — transmit EDN over unix domains, but wat’s rust-lisp syntax isn’t EDN-compliant → make wat typed-clojure → which exposed that the wat-rs/src/*.rs files were insanely poorly written (they had produced just enough of a list to make wat function, and had to be massively unfucked) → then code-rewriting (a giant if/cond mess) → “we need rete” → which needed Value to hold arbitrary data → which redefined the type system many times over → which needed better reflection (so adding a new collection type never silently breaks) → adding persistent-{map,vec} revealed problem after problem → and on, bouncing across hundreds of arcs in every state of completeness, annihilating one class after another. We walked into arc 170 with zero failures and exactly one ignore — the ignore that proved wat-test supports ignores. 170’s closure is still far — but vastly nearer than “add argv to main.”

This — the relentless walk from one annihilation to the next, each failure a door onto the next class to pull out by the root — is what the builder named the practice itself: “this is the art of datamancy — relentless annihilation.” The test-speed reclamation (#116 / R5) is the latest fallout: the failing floor that accrued during the services-correctness grind turned measurement into a tax, and driving it to zero is one more class pulled out by the root. The song scores the rhythm reclaimed; the recognition is that it was never a side-quest — it was 170, still unravelling, still annihilating, still closing.

Distinct from THE-INSCRIPTION (an arc closed) and THE-PROPHECY/THE-IGNITION (a build foretold/begun): THE-RECLAMATION lands when a capability the practice had and lost is reclaimed and demonstrated mid-campaign, re-enabling the work rather than completing it.
