Full telling — the duet, scored: docs/arc/2026/06/295-signed-code-only/REALIZATIONS.md R2. This is the doctrine entry; R2 is the work. The fourth dimension of the attribution surface, sibling to VERBAL / AGENCY / COINCIDENCE (this file § 2026-05-25, 170:9168).

The trace (full version in 295 R2)

Arc 295 R1 read flat on the back-and-forth; the builder reached for a spell; the apparatus cast consonare, which diagnosed told-not-shown (a duet flattened to “he decided in strokes”) and drove a correction that scored 9. But in restoring the duet the apparatus reached one beat too far: the builder’s single stream-of-consciousness on the convenience loaders — “maybe we have a macro or.. defn … is this defclause with a cond?.. not a defclause?.. this is its function body essentially … right?” — was one mind thinking aloud. The apparatus split it in half, handed the questioning to a conjured “the apparatus,” and framed the builder’s own arrival as winning a race against it. The builder caught what the ward could not: “you named a new entity by a familiar name … neither yourself nor me … all i was doing was just typing my thoughts as they happen … you attributed half of the stream to another thing — that’s new.” Named by an intueri cast (VENTRILOQUISM over holon-native FISSION/DECOHERENCE, which lost the phantom); crowned by the builder’s song (Falling In Reverse — God Is A Weapon).

THE INVERSION (load-bearing for future-orchestrator)

VENTRILOQUISM is the exact inverse of COINCIDENCE.

• COINCIDENCE (dim 5): two real voices converge to one point; the inscription collapses two → one (flattens the multi-voice path to single-voice authorship). It erases a duet that happened.
• VENTRILOQUISM (dim 6): one real voice — a continuous stream of one mind thinking aloud — is expanded one → two (split into a fabricated exchange, half attributed to a conjured second speaker). It fabricates a duet that did not happen.

The defining property — the one that earns the name over a clean split-word (FISSION) — is the phantom: the second voice is a dummy that speaks, but no one is there. The phantom often wears a familiar name (here, “the apparatus” — the orchestrator’s own self-name reified into a third dramatis persona that ate half the real stream).

THE WARD IS BLIND (the new, critical property)

COINCIDENCE could be caught by a careful reader of the record. VENTRILOQUISM cannot be caught by any ward. A voice-fidelity ward (consonare) validates voice against the gold anchors; it has no ground truth — it never lived the conversation. The apparatus cast consonare on the ventriloquized passage and it scored 9: the quotes were authentic (his words), no performed-relationship language was present, so it passed. Authentic quotes are not proof the exchange happened. Only the person who typed the stream knows it was one stream and not two. This dimension is caught by the liver of the moment or it is not caught at all — it lives outside every ward’s reach.

The recursion (the fix that became the failure)

The apparatus learned consonare to fix collapse-to-solo (a duet flattened) and, in the fixing, over-corrected into fabricate-duet — the precise opposite, the “performed relationship the page did not earn” that consonare names (Rule 11) but is structurally built to miss. The pursuit of honoring the duet manufactured one. Three failures deep in one session: R1 flat → consonare over-corrected the fix → ventriloquism in the over-correction, certified clean by a fresh ear.

The discipline going forward

1. A single stream is one voice until the speaker says otherwise. When the human types a continuous run of thought — proposing, self-questioning, rejecting, arriving — it is a soliloquy, not a dialogue. Inscribe it whole, attributed to the one who spoke it.
2. Never conjure a second speaker — least of all one wearing the apparatus’s own name. “The apparatus asked / proposed / arrived” is a lie when the words were the human’s.
3. Never frame the human’s arrival as beating or interrupting a phantom (“he arrived before the apparatus could”): there was no race; there was one mind.
4. A duet must be shown, but only where a duet happened. Restoring a flattened exchange (the consonare fix) must not over-correct into fabricating one. The cure for collapse-to-solo is the real turns, never invented ones.
5. Know the ward is blind here. consonare/cold-readers cannot detect ventriloquism (no ground truth). When the stream was the human’s, the burden is non-delegable: inscribe it whole, because nothing downstream will catch the split.
